Today I was watching a video about some Amish that becoming Christians, and were faced with the decision to leave the culture. The part the I’m writing about right now is seeing the one family take their little girl to the hospital – Hershey Medical Center.
The hospital that cared for Kira during her last days here.
Seeing the rooms, the familiar beds, the rounded corner windows, the maroon hospital chairs…brought back a tremendous wave of emotions. I chocked back the tears, felt tightening in my chest, oh the pain of loss.
God please help Merlin and MaryLou and Marlea carry this heavy burden that they cannot, will not, may not forget.
